Idaho Bass Anglers is the newest bass fishing club in Idaho affiliated with The Idaho Bass Federation, The Bass Federation, and FLW Outdoors.  Formed in November 2007 the club started initially with 12 members and quickly grew to 19 members. Annual dues are $40 with an additional first year initiation of $20. To be considered an active member, club dues have to be paid as well as $35 that will cover dues to FLW Outdoors.

Idaho Bass Anglers is a family oriented club with an emphasis on educating new members.  Meetings are structured so members learn new techniques, baits, locations, presentations and seasons from each other.  Spouses and children are encouraged to participate in meetings and tournaments.

Members of Idaho Bass Anglers are committed to community projects such as REEL Kids Casting events, C.A.S.T. (Catch A Special Thrill) and the Scales of Justice Tournament as well as numerous conservation projects.  Conservation projects are aimed at improving fishing for all fish species and are conducted at various locations and times with guidance from Idaho Department of Fish and Game.

For 2010 Idaho Bass Anglers has scheduled 6 tournaments to be held on area waters.  Club tournaments are draw format (boater drawing a non-boater) but family members are always allowed to fish together.  Boaters compete against non-boaters and other boaters.  Tournament entry fees are reasonable as club tournaments are intended for both social activities as well as educational purposes.  All tournaments are catch and release and FLW Outdoors rules apply.  Boaters and non-boaters are welcome to join the club.

Guests are welcome to attend club meetings currently being held at Pizza Hut on 10th Street in Caldwell, Idaho.  Meetings are scheduled for the second Wednesday of every month and begin at 7 pm.
